About Mandates and Functions of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Baksa:
The KrishiVigyan Kendra, Baksa was established in the year 2014 at Dhepargaon area under KaurbahaMouza. The major mandated activities of KVK , Baksa are as follows-

1. Organizing vocational training programmes in the field of Agriculture and allied sectors for and practicing farmers, farm women and rural youth for skill development.

2. Conducting On Farm Trial (OFT) on identified technologies in terms of location specific sustainable land use system for development of technologies.

3. Front Line Demonstration (FLD) on major cereal crops, oil seeds and pulse seeds and other enterprises related to agriculture and allied areas for transfer of technologies.

4. In-service training for field level extension official-functionaries.
